A very popular musician has opened his themed restaurant at the hotel, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville is a tropical hangout where visitors can let loose while enjoying great food. • It is central to the strip

I stayed at this hotel 2 times. It is central to the strip and has a wonderful ambiance...

  • I like the lights from the Flamingo

The Flamingo, if Benjamin Bugsy had known which this hotel will be ontime.. wow wow. I like the lights from the Flamingo ahah very nice. Flamingo Las Vegas itself is nice too. Near pool and the wedding chapel there is a free Flamingo habitat attraction, which has a nice flair. Very nice to calm down from the hot Vegas sun in summer, very quiet there and you can relax.. You should see the garden whether or not you stay at Flamingo Hotel.

  • Staying in the Flamingo means lining up!

Staying in the Flamingo means lining up! Check in took over 90 minutes, while lined up to check out (30 minutes) I was talking to others who had lined up for over 2 hours just to check in. To eat at some of the hotel restaurants, line up! I didn't try all the restaurants, but most everytime I went by one there were line ups. The times are not specified when they are open so it can be hit and miss. The restaurant guide found in the rooms gives the hours, but nobody informed the restaurants would be my guess. The pool is lovely at the Flamingo, but to go on the slides there are huge lineups. When checking out and leaving your baggage for several hours with baggage claim make sure you arrive to collect your luggage an hour before you need to get to the airport, as it took quite a long time to get my luggage. The rooms are quite nice, all the staff that I was in contact with were very nice and polite. Waiting in lines the length of time that I did to check in, check out, and collecting luggage was totally unacceptable.

  • Their service is not what it once was

I had been staying a the Flamingo Hotel for many years. My last stay was my last. The room we got had a shattered window which faced the strip and it was hidden behind the curtain til I noticed it. The second room I was transfered to the keys didn't work, had no air conditioning and it smelled. The third was definately the charm. The room was satisfactory but the time that was wasted was not. Their service is not what it once was. I prefer harrahs

  • 4 days of hell

we stayed at the flamingo april18-21, first and last time in vegas. Most seriously was the buffet, my husband has a deadly allergy to seafood, so before getting the 24 hour buffet we asked if there was seafood and was told no, that friday was seafood night, so we purchased 2, 24 hr buffets only to find that there was seafood there, so we asked the staff behind the counter how things like the seafood and chicken were cooked, and she picked up a piece of seafood and we said no, we wanted to know about the way it was cooked, was it cooked with the chicken in any way that it could touch and she proceeded to pick up a chicken piece with the same hand that touched the seafood, so we had to leave cause if my husband got that piece of chicken it could kill him. Then... when we arrived the checkout line was outrageous, took a few hours to checkin and our room wasn't ready so we were told to wait a bit and go to express checkin to get keys, which i did twice before they got room for us, which was filthy and they moved us the following morning with the promise that we wouldn't have to wait in any lines, to go to side desk and ask for a manager, which we tried to do and were told quite rudely to go to the express check in line, when we tried to explain what Wakeem the manager had told us to do the lady repeated go to the back of the line and wouldn't listen and then when things got upset she called for Andrej Radosavljevic who called security and wouldn't listen to our complaints, and then said I have u surrounded by security, so you can go to the back of the line or I can give u your money back and u can leave the hotel, we explained that all we wanted was the keys to our new room and that Wakeem said we didn't have to go through the lineups again and that he put a $50 credit on our room to apologize for the hassles,Andrej said we were lying that there was no one with that name working here, we said check our room credit and he said no, he couldn't, which we were later told was a lie, he could've looked he just didn't want to. Andrej was threatening and rude. After speaking with several employees they said that we needed to report him because that's not how people should be treated, which I agree. Our second room was filthy as well so they had our carpets cleaned while we went out and Ira Lorini had chocolates, nuts and coffee brought to our room to apologize for the way we had been treated. We felt we were treated horribly at the flamingo and stayed away from there as much as possible, we were looking forward to going to vegas and having fun, but instead it turned into 4 days of hell. I hope to hear back from someone soon, thank you

New Mask Requirement for Casinos in Las Vegas

Slots

Three weeks after the COVID-19 shutdown was lifted, properties in Las Vegas began opening again, but not all at once. Caesars Entertain and MGM Resorts have a few selected properties reopening, including Caesars Palace, the Flamingo, Harrah’s, the Bellagio, New York-New York, and MGM Grand.

Beginning Friday, Governor Sisolak mandated that masks must be worn in all of Nevada’s public indoor spaces, which means in all casinos too. Masks are not a requirement after weeks where guests were encouraged, but not mandated, to wear them.

Casino visitors must keep their masks on except whenever eating or drinking. Since reopening, masks were always a requirement for casino staff.

The ruling went into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, following Gov. Sisolak’s new “No shirt. No shoes. No mask. No service” slogan that he announced on Wednesday. Social distancing protocols and other coronavirus safety protocols remain in effect.

Sisolak’s ruling comes on the heels of a similar mandate issued by California governor Gavin Newsom last week. Newsom’s ruling required that all reopened casinos and card rooms require guests and players to wear masks.

Now, visitors who enter Las Vegas casinos will be offered a face covering and will be turned away if they refuse to wear one.

Nevada joins several other states in seeing its COVID-19 cases rise, and we’re hoping that the new face mask mandate will stifle the curve.

We’re happy to see that gamblers can once again play to their heart’s content, and not only that but cash out in big ways.

It’s definitely what was needed after a long quarantine. We hope that this new mask requirement will allow players and casino guests to remain safe while casinos stay reopened.
